Healthy oatmeal raisin cookies are the latest addition to my cookie collection. Gulab Jamun is used to make this easy oatmeal cookie recipe. This old-fashioned oatmeal cookie recipe is enhanced with gulab jamun.

Quaker Oatmeal Cookies

After our guests abruptly left, I was forced to cancel my plans to make gulab jamuns. I was left with the Gulab Jamun Mix and am trying to figure out what I should do with it.

It would have been easier just to put the box in a drawer and forget everything. Instead, I grabbed the oatmeal leftovers in a packet and mixed it with Gulab Jamun. I had the recipe for my new cookies, the quaker oatmeal raisins cookies, with me.

I gathered all the ingredients needed for the oatmeal cookies and kept encouraging myself to achieve positive results. This was the first time I tried cookies made with Gulab Jamun mix. The trick worked.

The results were terrific, and I made my best oatmeal cookie recipe. Gulab Jamun mixed enhanced the flavor of oatmeal raisin cookies. You will be amazed at the results.

Butter and sugar should be combined in a large bowl. Mix them until you have a creamy mixture. This can be done with an electric whisker, but I prefer to use a hand whisker and a spatula.

Mix all ingredients and form a dough.

Divide the dough into 12 equal parts. Each portion should be rolled into a ball. Flatten the balls slightly.

Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet or butter it. Place the cookies in a single layer on the baking tray.

For 10 minutes, heat the oven to 160°C.

Bake the cookies at 160°C for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are golden.

After baking, remove the cookies from the oven and place them on a cooling rack.

Let cool before serving. Gulab Jamun cookies are ready with raisins and oats.

Ingredients

  • Gulab Jamun Mixture 100gm
  • 100g Organic Sugar Pulled
  • 50gm Oats
  • 60 gm Raisins
  • 80 gm Butter Unsalted
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Take Butter and sugar in a large bowl. Mix these ingredients until you have a creamy, soft mixture.
  • Add Gulab Jamun mixture and salt to taste.
  • Take all of these ingredients, and you will have dough.
  • You can line a baking sheet with parchment paper or butter it.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
  • Each portion should be rolled into a round ball, then flattened slightly.
  • Place the shaped cookies onto the baking tray, leaving space between them.
  • For 10 minutes, heat the oven to 160°C.
  • Bake the cookies at 160°C for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • After baking, remove the cookies from the oven and place them on a wired rack.
  • Let cool completely before serving. Gulab Jamun Cookies are ready with oats, raisins, and other ingredients.
