Tender Indian-style turkey meatballs and creamy makhani sauce made with tomatoes, onions, and spices inspired butter chicken. These meatballs are perfectly spiced and served in a creamy sauce that compliments each other. This easy recipe is also a favorite party dish. You can do it with some warm naans or on a platter.

It is simply delicious. This recipe is similar to Butter Chicken. It uses butternut squash in the sauce base to make the sauce creamier. Also, it uses masala turkey meatballs to replace the chicken. They are amazing. You can make a few more meatballs for this recipe.

This is one of my favorite recipes. I’m proud to have come up with it and made it. It was amazing! Someone else must take credit for the original idea.

Chopped’s judges were competing in a recent episode. They teamed up with their siblings to create deliciousness using the ingredients from the mystery box. Her sister Chef Maneet Chauhan made these fantastic meatballs using ground turkey. She also used butternut squash in the sauce and made delicious raita.

After watching the episode, I knew that I had to make turkey meatballs with makhani sauce. There was no recipe, so I made my lamb Kebabs recipe and then used the Makhani sauce from my butter Chicken recipe to make this sauce.

What is Makhani sauce?

Makhani Sauce is a rich, creamy sauce made with tomatoes, onions, and butter. This sauce is also used to make butter chicken or Makhani, the most popular Indian restaurant dish. Makhani is butter, like. This is why the sauce tastes almost like butter. It could also mean that the word contains a lot of butter. I do both. I add butter to the plate and make it creamy.

To make my sauce creamier, I add soaked cashews to it. Cashews can be used in place of cream to make it dairy-free.

These Masala Turkey Meatballs are our favorite, and they come in creamy Makhani Sauce.

  • The sauce has a rich flavor and is creamy. It complements the meatballs very nicely.
  • This crowd-favorite recipe is simple to prepare for a large group. You can make it ahead of time, making it more convenient for meal preparation.
