Eggless Focaccia Bread
Have you ever considered making bread with no effort, no complicated steps, no need to knead, and just a few essential ingredients? This sounds more fun than buying bread. Isn’t it?
This is what we will be discussing today. Today we will be making No-knead focaccia bread. Focaccia, an Italian flatbread that is very popular, is also known to be the cousin of pizza. I also like my whole-wheat recipe.

This easy focaccia recipe can be used in a variety of ways. There is no stretching or kneading. It takes a little bit of your time.
Once the dough is mixed, it can rise for several hours while you work on other projects. The cast iron pan is the best for creating a crispy crust. However, any other baking tin can be used.
Sprinkle it with extra-virgin oil, and garnish with fresh herbs. Bake until golden.

No Knead Focaccia Bread Recipe
Add 1/2 tsp dry white yeast to a small bowl. Add 60 ml of lukewarm tap water. Mix it well and allow it to rest for the yeast to froth.
Expert Tip: Bread baking requires yeast to play an important role. Make sure you activate your yeast.
Take 250g of all-purpose flour and place it in a kneading dish. You can also add 1/2 teaspoon salt to the mixture. Use a wooden spatula or a spoon to mix everything.
To bind the dough, keep adding water between each addition. To knead my dough, I used 120ml water.
Add 1 tbsp olive oil to this mixture. Melted butter can be used, but olive oil enhances its flavor.
Cover the prepared dough with Cling Wrap, and allow it to rest on the counter for approximately 2 hours.
After 2 hours, form the dough into a round shape and place it in a greased pan 8 inches. Use olive oil to coat your hands and shape the dough.
Add your favorite vegetables to the dough. Here, I’m using Cherry Tomatoes as well as Olives. Cover the dough again and let it rest for at least two hours.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the bread shape in a 200-degree Celsius oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the focaccia bread from the oven. It should be immediately molded.
Ingredients
- 250 gm All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp Instant yeast
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil extra virgin
- 180 ml Lukewarm Water
- 1/4 cup chopped olives
- 1/4 cup Cherry tomatoes Sliced
Instructions
- Add yeast, sugar, and a little bit of lukewarm to a small bowl.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to let the yeast foam up.
- Add flour, salt, and activated yeast solution to a bowl.
- Mix everything with a wooden spatula and spoon.
- Mix the remaining lukewarm water with the olive oil.
- Combine everything until well combined. The dough will look sticky.
- Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or cling wrapping and let it sit on the counter for at least 2 hours.
- Transfer the dough to an 8-inch round, greased pan/tin after 2 hours.
- Use olive oil to lightly rub the dough onto your hands.
- Add tomatoes and olives to the dough. Use cling wrap or a towel to cover the tin.
- It should be allowed to rest until it doubles its volume.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Bake the risen dough for 20 minutes in a preheated oven
- After the bread is completely cooled, remove the tin and immediately demolish it. To enhance the flavor, brush it with extra-virgin olive oil.
